The Joy of Movement

 MS. PAM AUBERT is the owner and director of Pam’s Dance Company.  She grew up in the performing arts with her mother, Reta Lee, operating studios in the Upper Midwest, Texas and Las Vegas.  Pam began teaching classes at age twelve.  She has won numerous trophies in pageants, baton & dance competitions.  At age five, she was first runner up to Little Miss Minnesota.  Pam served as head majorette at both Frederic & Webster high schools and is a graduate of Amery High School.   She taught on staff at Reta Lee’s Academy of Performing Arts in Las Vegas and was a professional model prior to opening her studio in Amery.  Pam  keeps up to date by attending professional workshops each year to assure her students that she will be teaching the latest methods and styles. Pam established her  spacious and fully equipped studio in Amery in 1996, with an observation window available. 

Emily started ballet and tap when she was 5, and hasn't stopped dancing since! She is trained in ballet, tap, pointe, jazz, modern, musical theatre, and hip hop. She is also certified with the American Ballet Theatre's National Training Curriculum in levels pre-primary through 3.  In her spare time, Emily choreographs musicals for North Branch High School,  Rush City High School,  and the Pine City Heritage Players.  She is also the head coach of the Pine City Dragonettes dance team.  

 Becky Johnson-Whitten was born dancing. Beginning her dance career at age 4 with Karen’s School of Dance in St. Croix Falls, Becky continued her dancing throughout her school years. She was a part of the St. Croix Falls Cheer/Dance team, choreographed for school plays and choir groups, danced with her studio and taught at a daycare. After high school she danced one year with Spotlight Studio in Stillwater, MN. Over the years Becky has continued dance education with multiple master workshops. Becky has owned and operated her own dance studio for 17 years and has lead several years of regional and national award winning competition teams. Competing herself, she won the Applause Talent National 1st Overall Hip Hop Pro Am Award in 2009. Becky loves the art of dance and teaching, almost as much as she loves being a mom to her daughter, Brenna (18), who grew up dancing with her in the studio, and her son, Jayden (6), who is wildly creative but prefers to be behind the scenes. Becky is looking forward to branching out and working with Pam’s Dance Company in the upcoming season.
